Your Privacy Choices

Your information belongs to you. Here's exactly what Groovy Hues Painting of Philadelphia collects, the rights you have over it, and how to use them.

Last updated: July 8, 2026

Groovy Hues Painting of Philadelphia is a local Philadelphia painting company. We collect only what we need to give you an estimate and complete your project — and we do not sell your personal information for money. This page explains your privacy rights in plain language and gives you a direct way to use them, whichever state you live in.

What We Collect

In short: contact details you submit through our forms (name, email, phone, project details), call and text history related to your project, and — when analytics are active on this site — cookie-based usage data such as pages viewed and device type. The full detail lives in our Privacy Policy.

Your Rights, In Plain Language

State privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), and the Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island consumer data privacy laws that took effect in 2026 — give residents rights that generally include:

  • Know & access — ask what personal information we have about you and receive a copy of it.
  • Correct — ask us to fix inaccurate information (for example, a wrong phone number or address on your project record).
  • Delete — ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for warranty, tax, or insurance purposes).
  • Opt out — tell us not to "sell" or "share" your personal information or use it for targeted advertising or profiling.
  • No retaliation — exercising these rights will never change the price or quality of our painting services.

These laws technically apply to businesses above certain size thresholds, and some may not apply to a local company like ours — but we don't make you research that. We honor these requests for everyone, in any state.

How to Exercise Your Rights

Email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request". Tell us whether you want access, correction, deletion, or an opt-out, and include the name, email, and phone number you used with us so we can find and verify your records — we verify requests by matching the details you provide against what we hold, and we may follow up to confirm it's really you. You can also call (267) 467-2640. We respond within 45 days; if we need more time, we'll tell you why. There is no fee for a reasonable request, and you may use an authorized agent where your state's law provides for one.

"Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information"

We do not sell personal information for money. If optional analytics or advertising cookies are active on this site, that cookie-based measurement could count as "sharing" (or in some states "selling") as those laws define it. You can opt out two ways:

  • Use the cookie banner — choose "Reject optional" (or "Manage preferences") when the privacy-preferences banner appears, and optional analytics/advertising cookies stay off.
  • Turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) — this site honors the GPC browser signal automatically as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing, with no further action needed from you.

You can also email the address above with the subject "Privacy request" and we'll apply the opt-out to your records directly.

Managing Cookies

Necessary cookies keep the site working and can't be switched off. Optional analytics cookies are controlled by the cookie banner — your choice is remembered, and you can change it anytime by clearing this site's cookies in your browser (the banner will ask again on your next visit). Details are in the Privacy Policy.
